The prerequisite for the dual study program is a high school diploma.
The dual study program in Industrial Engineering and Management can be completed alongside work or integrated with training.
Part-time: You start your studies directly in October.
Integrated training: You will also complete an IHK apprenticeship. You start your training in the first year. You start your studies in October of the following year. You take the final examination for your apprenticeship during your studies. Training, studies and work run in parallel.
During the semesters you work 6 hours a day from Monday to Thursday. You have Fridays off. If you are studying with integrated training, you have vocational school on Fridays. During the semester break you are with us 5 days a week or on vacation.
The course takes place at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.
The course lasts 9 semesters and comprises a combination of online seminars and intensive attendance blocks:
The standard period of study is ten semesters. However, due to the high proportion of practical work and the credit transfer options, the course can also be completed in nine semesters.
Landshut University of Applied Sciences offers the course with specializations in energy and logistics. Alternatively, the dual study program can also be completed in traditional industrial engineering without specialization.
Optional for a degree course integrated with training: You will take the IHK final examination to become an industrial clerk (m/f/d) during your studies - after 2.5 years.
At ODU, you will work in various departments relevant to your studies and experience theory and practice at first hand.
After completing your studies, you will meet the best requirements for our demanding areas of activity relating to the development of our international markets and customer acquisition and support: Sales, marketing, product management, project planning etc. are your target areas. You ensure that both the technical and business aspects of projects are covered.
The transfer to a permanent employment relationship at ODU is seamless.
